Mont comes from one vineyard mainly with Tocai Friulano, but also some Picolit and Malvasia. The beautiful cru vineyard of Nikolas is located in Montana and is surrounded by forest, which means it never gets too warm in the summer and there is always a nice breeze. The wine undergoes hardly any maceration, only 2 days, so it is more of a white wine. After pressing, it is aged in concrete vats for about 11 months. Mont is a fresh cru in the region, so the wine has a fresh character, with nice acidity and floral notes. Ripe fruit such as mandarin and a salty finish.
