This is Belo 2024 by Nikolas Juretic. After a devastating hailstorm on July 26th, which caused up to 100% crop loss in some plots, Nikolas turned what remained into something beautiful: a vibrant blend of Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, and Pinot Bianco from his biodynamic vineyards near Cormons (Collio, Friuli). Hand-harvested, with each grape variety spontaneously fermented separately, partly in concrete and partly in used oak. Unfined and unfiltered; this is pure, fresh, and linear, featuring notes of citrus, herbs, and a touch of florals.
