Barbagrelot, a blend of Grenache from Carpentras and Merlot from Ardèche. Combined during fermentation and fermented with a special technique, a kind of semi-carbonic to avoid too many tannins and keep a lot of fruit. Lots of dark fruit then and also some herbs and mint. Full red but not too strong. 

Des Barbatruks is the name for the negociant line of Maxime Lannay and Isabelle Delahaye, from Montmalin in the Jura. Besides their own vineyards, only 2 hectares, they buy some grapes from friendly winemakers in Southern France. This way they can produce just a few more bottles of Grenache, Merlot, Viognier, and Auxerrois.
