Barbacuda is 100% Gewürztraminer from Alsace, with 3 weeks fermentation with the whole bunches. A full, fruity and powerful orange wine, with floral aromas of the Gewurztraminer.
The Barbatruks is the name for the negoce line of Maxime Lannay and Isabelle Delahaye, from Montmalin in the Jura. Besides their own vineyards, only 2 hectares, they buy some grapes from befriended winemakers in the south of France and Alsace. So they can produce just a few more bottles of Grenache, Merlot, Viognier and Auxerrois, among others.
