CR is made from Macabeu grapes, macerated with the marc of Lledoner Pelut (a red grape variety closely related to Grenache noir). Raphael calls it the tea bag method. The result is a deep pink/light red wine that is fresh, mineral, full of energy, and blueberry, lots of blueberry. A super interesting winemaking technique where the two grapes are mixed together and an even more interesting wine to try! Absolutely one of our favorite wines.
