After growing up in Aloxe-Corton, Romain was fortunate to learn from the famous natural wine producer Pacalet. In 2009, they started their own cellar in Pommard. Like many producers today, they seek good organic grapes and vines from friendly winemakers in the area. They carefully select the vineyards to create the highest quality wines. They also own a few hectares of their own vineyards.
