Manuel, Jose, Joachim and Kiko: Tutti Frutti Ananas

Tutti Frutti Ananas is a collaboration between Manuel from Vinyer de la Ruca with Zé Tafé from La Cave des Nomades and Joachim from Domaine Carterole and Kiko to make the type of wine they like to drink on the Mediterranean in Banyuls-sur-Mer.
They farm organically on a combination of sand, slate and quartz on vineyards close to the sea and on the mountains in the area. They make their wines together in Les 9 Caves, a cooperative cellar located in an old garage in the center of the city. The wine ferments and matures in large concrete barrels and is bottled young, full of energy and life.
