Dido and Jur aka the Grapehunters travelled the world to learn to make wine. Now they live their dream as Vinyes Tortuga, located between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea. They share their land with nearly extinct tortugas and own a 9,5 hectare estate, with schist and slate soils.
The vines are currently in conversion to be officially certified organic, Dido is working hard to learn more about biodynamics so this will be the next step. All fermentations are spontaneous without additions. They bottle the wines by gravity without filtering, fining, stabilizing or sulphur addition. #letsreprojuice
