Very special Pinot noir from 3 different terroirs in Alsace. Spontaneous fermentation, loosely fermented and carbonic for a few weeks. Then put together and aged for another 18 months in old oak. Explosion of freshness, juice and spices. Nice minerality and super juicy.
Farid Yahimi aka Sons of Wine is an organic négoçiant, based in Ammerschwihr, Alsace, who has a very own, young and wild style of winemaking. Unique to Alsace...or even the world. He is not afraid to cross the border as he also makes a Verdejo based wine from colleague Ismael Gozalo *Microbio wines! and a Pinot noir aged in a barrel under the Mediterranean for a year. His range is special, tasteful and always very good.
