We are so happy with the wines of Matthias Warnung. This is another surprise. A blend of Muller Thurgau and Gruner Veltliner. The Muller Thurgau has had skin contact for about 10 days, the juice is then blended with the directly pressed juice of the Gruner Veltliner. Fermented together in steel and then another 9 months in barrel. The result is a super fresh, aromatic wine, slightly cloudy but very pure. Citrus fruit and pear.
Matthias Warnung took over his father's vineyards in 2010 and now works on 10 hectares in the Kamptal area of Austria. All his wines are spontaneously fermented and always with little or no SO2 added.
