This is a blend of three different vineyards, up to about 20 years old. Hand-picked Gruner Veltliner grapes, pressed whole bunches and aged in old barrels. Then another 1 to 2 years in the barrel for further maturation. So no basis! Super sleek, elegant Gruner Veltliner, exactly what you want with this grape.
Matthias Warnung took over his father's vineyards in 2010 and now works on 10 hectares in the Kamptal area of Austria. All his wines are spontaneously fermented and always with little or no SO2 added.
