Very soft, light structured but rich Zweigelt. Hand harvested and whole bunch fermented with a semi carbonic maceration. Left with the skins for 14 days then pressed and stayed in tank for 2 years. Unfined or filtered. Just about 400 bottles made. Very special.
Matthias Warnung took over his fathers vineyards in 2010, now working on 10 hectares in the Kamptal area of Austria. All his wines are fermented spontaneously and always with little or no SO2 added.
